INTERNAL RENDERING & WHITE SET

An internal wall just rendered, can be an impressive design feature in any home. Adding internal render to a wall can update the appearance, create a focal point, and add an element of individuality.
Additionally, render and white set is a traditional method whereby plaster is thinly applied over the rendered surface, then trowel finished to leave a smooth, blemish-free wall that is ready to be painted.

Acrylic Render is a modern render system composed of acrylic polymers and sand/cement blends. The tensile strength of acrylic render is up to seven times that of traditional sand and cement render, making it exceptionally durable. A final coat of Acrylic Texture Coating is applied over the Acrylic Render. This coating combines acrylics and polymers, and it is extremely hard-wearing and durable. At Southern Render Texture, we exclusively use Dulux Acratex® which is the gold standard for modern rendering solutions.

Wall Cracks

Cracks in walls can appear for a variety of reasons. At Southern Render Texture we evaluate the cause of the cracking, then help the client determine the best method to restore the wall to its former glory.

Water Damage

Dampness can cause the plaster to crack, become drummy, and form a white salt deposit which causes the paint to bubble. Once you have resolved the cause of the water damage, we remove all affected plaster and repair the area, and finalise the repair by replastering.

Cement Render

Traditional cement render consists of sand, cement, and lime or clay. This type of render is ideal for restoration work or to cover uneven brick surfaces.

Quoins And Bands

Acrylic Render

There is no better material for rendering than acrylic, which has a 7-times strength of sand and cement renders.

Internal Render & White Set

Traditional interior cement rendering is 'floated' over the surface and plaster is then set over it, leaving a smooth, blemish-free wall that is ready to be painted.
